Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant, Bhadravathi, a Special Steels Plant of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) invited applications for 18 vacancies for the post of Operator-cum-Technician Trainees. Eligible candidates can send their applications online before 3 March 2015.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed Matriculation and have three years full time Diploma in relevant discipline of Engineering in Metallurgy / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics/Civil from a Govt. recognized Institute.

Age Limit

18-28 years for general candidates

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be paid 10,700/- for 1st year and 12,200/- in 2nd year.

Selection Procedure

Eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test. Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be intimated to appear for Interview. Weightage for written test and Interview will be 80:20 respectively. Information for Written test and Interview will be provided on our website www.sail.co.in.

E-receipt of Rs. 250/- application and processing fee for General/OBC candidates needs to be downloaded with the Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) from the website after filling in the required details and make the payment at the bank or pay using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking online through the payment gateway made available.
